Seek God’s Kingdom and Righteousness-Matthew 6:19-24

1. What do you think Jesus meant when he said seek the kingdom of God first? How do you seek God’s kingdom and righteousness on a daily basis?

2. Looking into the previous passage in verse Matthew 6:24. It is mentioned that we can only serve one master: God or money. What does that have to do with this passage? Who do we serve if we worry about things of this earth?

3. Why do you think Jesus had to say not to worry 3 times instead of just saying it once? What was the need to repeat it 3 times?

4. What does our worries and anxieties say about our relationship with God?

5. How do you react to worry? How should you be reacting to it?

6. Why do you think Jesus choose to use birds and flowers as an example of why we should not worry?
